It’s a fact that automotive lighting helps drivers communicate with each other. Such examples are the tail lamps and brake lamps. But these aren’t just enough. What if there is a way to tell motorists behind you how you feel about their driving? Here comes the cute and ingenious Drivemocion. This car accessory has simple messages like thanks, sorry, and back off and some smileys to let drivers communicate with each other.

The Drivemocion easily attaches inside of the rear car window using a power suction cup. It also has a remote control to activate the messages. The unit is powered by 4 AA batteries that can last for approximately 4 month’s depending on usage.

A friend of mine sent me this information about the Hello Kitty headlamp bulb. Although it’s no longer news for others, it was for me. I never thought Sanrio would think of this. But I really found this Hello Kitty headlamp really cute! Based on the info I got, it gives out Hello Kitty-shaped silhouettes on objects in front of you. I can’t begin to imagine what it would look like! I’m really curious. I just want to see how it looks, but I don’t think I’ll install these in my car. I want to see how big the silhouette will be and if it will really help you see the road during at night. But I don’t really want to turn my car to a Hello Kitty mobile, the interior accessories like my Hello Kitty steering wheel cover and seat belt cover are already enough.

Drivers are not the only ones finding a way to reduce glare, even car manufacturers are also coming up with solutions to make the road safer for all motorists with the use of technology. Automatic headlamp system and self-dimming mirrors are just some of them.
Automatic headlamp system avoids blinding other drivers by dimming the vehicle’s headlamps when there is an approaching vehicle. It senses the presence of another vehicle through the photosensor, which can be found in front of the vehicle. When light touches the sensor, a small amount of electric current is produced. This current then operates the relay, which is responsible for dimming the lights.
Self-dimming mirrors, on the other hand, help reduce glare produced by the vehicle behind you while still letting the driver have visibility of his rear. When glare becomes brighter, the mirror automatically becomes darker, and as the glare reduces, the mirror returns to normal.
Both of these safety features are now readily available in the market as standard equipments or upgrades.

Making your ride stand out is easier said than done. It needs to be outfitted with the right add-ons and accessories. Of course, customizing can be done in a hundred ways. Whether it’s mounting a spoiler or putting up huge rims, it’s up to your own preference. But if you want to put something unconventional but flashy nonetheless, then an underbody light kit is a great choice. For those who don’t know, underbody lights add color and illumination under your automobile (particularly your wheel area) I myself haven’t thought of putting underbody lights, but a friend of mine tried it out on this Civic. Well, I must say, I was surprised on how great and flashy it looked and how it complemented my friend’s ride.
Typically, underbody lights have flat LED lights with a high impact Lexan tubing to serve as its covering. These tubes protect the lights from harsh road particles like rocks, sand, etc. They also have built-in transformers and a pre connected wiring designs. When my buddy bought his underbody light kit, it came with all the necessary hardware and installation instructions. Naturally, it made things easier for when to install his LED underbody lights. His kit also included a couple of blue 30″ front and rear tubes and a couple of blue 48″ side tubes.
Aside from making your car look pimped-out, it also adds another level of illumination into your automobile. That way, cruising through dark streets and alleys would be like a breeze. Unfortunately, all these add-ons may have a downside or two. Underbody lights are easily prone to damage especially if the Lexan tubing isn’t sturdy enough. It can also be easily infiltrated by water. So if the wiring isn’t properly insulated, then that means trouble. But of course, I can say that the benefits can definitely outweigh the downsides. Just as long as you take the proper precautions, you’ll be good. After all, having a car that looks cool demands some responsibilities on your part.

“Under the light, nothing seems to be scary.” Well, that’s what the Sylvania people believe when they came up with the Sylvania light bulbs. Yes, when we talk about quality Halogen or even headlights, Sylvania is definitely in the conversation. While this brand is known to provide light bulbs to illuminate households, offices and other commercial establishments, Sylvania lighting services are also popular in automobile lighting applications.
With their CAD system and advanced manufacturing technologies, they came with up headlight bulbs that are not only made to illuminate, but also stand out. One of Sylvania’s prime objectives is to design the perfect headlight bulb that would save energy and improve your vehicle’s lighting levels all the same time. Its high performance halogen lights are made to last longer and shine brighter than stock and OEM headlights. While it’s HID lights are made to illuminate the road like no other. They feature light color that resembles to daylight. But of course, you shouldn’t expect that night would literally turn into day, but it would surely help you see better during night driving. While these lights are brighter and whiter than OEMs, they still meet all US and Canadian requirements for headlight bulbs, making them all street-legal.
Just image if you’re ride is equipped with these headlight bulbs, whether it’s their halogen, cool blue, extra vision and HID’s, well, let’s just say that other car’s wouldn’t want your vehicle behind them. So if you’re looking for a change in those stock and OEM headlight bulbs, then I suggest you try these babies out. To end this post, I would like to show this Thai-made video ad on Sylvania bulbs. Great ad for a great bulb, if I must say. Indeed, nothing seems to be scary when you’re under the light.
