One common electrical lighting problem most motorists encounter is flickering lights. The usual root of this problem is when there is a loose electrical connection or a shorted circuit breaker. To solve this, you have to first check if only one section has a problem. Let’s say the lights in high beam flickers; you have to deal with the circuit of high-beam wiring. Meanwhile, if one light flickers then it is the circuit of that section that is problematic. Look into the bulb socket for any corrosion and check if the bulb terminals are worn. Then replace the bulb socket and bulb if the wiring is not the problem.

What do you do when your lighting system is already in a corrosive condition? Well, one way to repair this is by using sandpaper on the affected area. If this doesn’t work then better replace the socket and bulb. Once you’ve done this make sure that the assembly is already waterproof. Check every nook and cranny to make sure that no moisture can ever seep through the headlights or taillights.
